Thank you for allowing your child(ren) or youth to participate in religious education and youth programming at First UU Church of San Antonio. In order to best serve your child(ren) and family, please provide the following information. There is no fee to participate in RE and youth programming. Family Participation

There are a variety of ways to contribute to our youth RE program -- please indicate any and all volunteering opportunities you'd be open to doing. Checking a box does not mean absolutely committing to doing it, just an expression of your interest and willingness to be contacted for it when the need arises. The general rule of thumb is for each family to volunteer 3 hours per month. Of course some volunteer more and some volunteer less. If you are unable to help out with anything at this time, that is OK -- everyone contributes to our church in different amounts and different ways at different times. Thank you for your generosity in supporting this community's children and youth!

RE Co-teacher: If you are interested in being a regular presence in an RE classroom as a teacher, please note which age group(s) you'd be most interested in spending time with in 2019-2020. All lesson plans are provided, and activities are prepared for you. Commitment would be one or two Sundays per month

Substitute RE Teacher: Help out when there's a last minute need for additional help in an RE class on Sunday morning.

Playground Monitor: Monitor Children on the playground (or with inside activities in the case of inclement weather) during the last half of the worship service

RE Ambassador - On Sundays when the DLRE is not at church, the RE Ambassador opens the doors, sets out supplies, collects clipboards, and helps out with anything that comes up unexpectedly, such as a last minute supply need or finding a sub if an RE teacher / assistant doesn't make it in to church.

Sunday RE Greeter: Greet families as they arrive, help children sign in for the appropriate class, provide directions, answer questions for new families

Craft / Activity / Classroom Preparation -- Help to prepare craft and activity materials sometime during the week before the service.
